- Professor Levitz- An expert in the field of time travel. The first person to theorise the Dali Paradox. Adam had the privilege to be educated by him during his years in the Time Institute.
- Captain Martin-his commanding officer and stepdad. They don't always see eye to eye, but they are as close as a non-biological father and son can be.
Overview: Adam is quite light-hearted and cheerful. He takes delight in travelling through time, and is a bit of a geek, being knowledgeable in things that aren't necessarily important. Though he remains loyal to his captain and his friends, wherever and whenever they are.

Adam was, or rather, will be, born at the closing days of the 21st century. From a young age, he was surrounded by history. Both the parents were historians, so he was brought up in quite an academic environment. At the age of eight, he was admitted to the Warhol Academy, one of the, admittedly less prestigious academies out there. He did, however, express an interest in the theories and workings of time travel. Due to his interests, he was recommended to the Time Institute by his professor.
A few days before the switch was to take place, Adam received some very saddening news. His father had been caught in an Atom Smasher accident. Sadly, it didn't give him superpowers. It sort of killed him. That was a pretty bad time for the Jonases. It didn't take long for Adam's mother to get remarried to another guy. A professor, too. Professor Jonathan Martin. In marrying Professor Martin, Adam's mother gained a daughter: Lisa, Professor Martin's daughter. Initially, Adam thought he was going to butt heads with this new family. He had never been so wrong. He shared many interests with Lisa, and was intrigued by Professor Martin's work. The professor, however, was very secretive when it came to his work.
Soon, Adam graduated from the Time Institute, and was given the rank of ensign, along with a belt and Rider Pass. His first assignment to a time machine took him by surprise. He had been assigned to work with a certain captain. One that he already knew. That's right, it was Captain Martin's time machine. His few years of service were enough to earn him a promotion to lieutenant, and a position as Martin's first officer.

A swirl of blue energy lit up the energising deck as Adam stepped aboard in full uniform. Having two pins on his collar was kind of a nice feeling. He couldn't wait until he got more. Of course, Captain Martin was waiting for him on the other side.
"You're late." his commanding officer said, with every hint of authority he could.
"Sorry. I had to get packed up." Adam said, pointing to the bags that lay at his feet.
"What is the threshold of the H2 molecule?" Captain Martin suddenly asked. Adam had to admit, he wasn't expecting this.
"14.7 electron volts" He said, pretty confident in that answer.
"Third brightest star in Orion?"
"Viewed from where?"
"Earth."
"Gamma Orionis or Bellatrix if you prefer the original Arabic name."
"Not bad." The captain consented. "Now give me a hug Adam, that's an order."
"With pleasure." Adam said, pulling his stepfather into a loving embrace. "I wasn't expecting a pop quiz."
"I just want you to remember that you're working for a scientific institute, not a swashbuckling ship of adventure." Martin said, letting go.
"Are you kidding?" Adam laughed. "I still have nightmares about your fractal calculus folder."
