Overview: Sanyu is a proud practitioner of Jeet-kune-do, a style created by the legendary Bruce Lee. Not wanting to tarnish his reputation, Sanyu takes his training very seriously. When he's not practicing, he's usually somewhere at an arcade playing games, and gets along reasonably well with people.... Unless they're attractive girls, in which case she falls apart.

Henshin Sequence: He transforms into Kamen Rider Meteor after the Meteor Switch is inserted into the Switch Socket, pulling the Waiting Trigger back and shouting "Henshin!" before pushing down the blue and spherical Enter Lever, then being hit by Cosmic Energy from the M-BUS satellite.

  Weapons: Fingerprint Authentication Brace Meteor Galaxy - Kamen Rider Meteor's personal weapon, as well as Kamen Rider Fourze's secondary weapon in Meteor Fusion States, which is attached onto the right wrist. On the Meteor Galaxy, there are three switches known as Galaxy Levers representing three of the eight planets in our solar system, which acts similar to Astroswitches by using Cosmic Energy to enhance Kamen Rider Meteor's powers by adding armaments. By turning the levers on and touching the touch panel, Kamen Rider Meteor can acess special abitlities via Cosmic Energy after first projecting the planet.
  Abilities: He gains the following abilities from the Meteor Galaxy
  
  • Mars Lever: The Mars Lever allows Kamen Rider Meteor to activate the Mars Breaker. Meteor is armed with the Mars Planet on his right arm, allowing him to deliver fire punches with a surface of 800 °C (1,470 °F).
  • Jupiter Lever: The Jupiter Lever allows Kamen Rider Meteor to activate the Jupiter Hammer. Meteor is armed with the Jupiter Planet on his right arm, enhancing his punching power tremendously. It can also deflect fire-based attacks when pushed to the limit.
    
  • Saturn Lever: The Saturn Lever allows Kamen Rider Meteor to activate the Saturn Sorcery, where Meteor summones the Saturn Planet and project violet-colored copies of it's planetary rings to act as guided boomerangs.
    
  Finisher(s): By turning on the Meteor Switch in the Meteor Driver and rotating the Celestial Drive Unit, Meteor can perform a few Rider Kick Limit Breaks:
  
  • Meteor Strike - A flying side kick. A variant of this is used with Kamen Rider Fourze's Elek Switch in the Driver instead of the Meteor Switch
  • Meteor Tornado - A corkscrew kick. He has a tornado kick variant when the Fire Switch is in the Meteor Driver.
  • Starlight Shower - A Rider Punch limit break activated by inserting the Meteor Switch into the Meteor Galaxy. He hits his opponent with fast, yet hard, jabs.
  • Rider Super Electromagnetic Strike - A combination finisher with Kamen Rider Fourze Magnet States, Meteor places the N Magnet Switch into the Meteor Driver, which allows both to use the magnetic pull from each other to ram into enemies, Meteor performing a flying side kick.

  Transformation: By swapping the Meteor Storm Switch with the Meteor Switch in the Meteor Driver, then spinning the fan on the Switch after activating it, he can transform into this more powerful form.
  Fighting Style: In addition to his martial arts training, he uses his additional training in weapon combat, specially in staff training.
  Weapons: Meteor Storm Shaft - A gun-rod like weapon, used like a staff.
  Abilities: In addition to increased speed and power, he can use the Meteor Storm Switch to absorb Cosmic Energy and use it against his opponent.
  Finisher(s): 
  • Meteor Storm Strike - An enhanced version of the Meteor Strike
  • Meteor Storm Punisher - By inserting the Meteor Storm Switch into the Meteor Storm Shaft, following by inserting the hand rubber puller into the Switch and pull out, Cosmic Energy are gathered in the top-like part of the Storm Shaft, converting into kinetic energy and Meteor Storm Switch's fan-blade known as the Storm Topper starts to spin. By releasing the Storm Topper on the shaft, Meteor Storm can perform the finisher Meteor Storm Punisher, where the Topper travels on the ground, leaving a carved trail as it heads to the target, then cleaves through it with no problem. It is able to contain the powerful explosion of a Horoscopes-level Zodiarts.
  • Max Meteor Storm Punisher - An enhanced version caused when Meteor presses the button of the Meteor Storm Switch three times before using the Meteor Storm Punisher. However, doing so will drain the energy of the Switch, and using another Limit Break will cancel out the transformation entirely.

History

For generations, the Miyazaki family have been trained in the ways of martial arts, each member finding a style and doing everything to master it. Sanyu was no different, and he chose Jeet Kune Do, being the first of the family to train in this style. Starting very young, Sanyu worked as hard as he could to master the style, finally achieving it as he finished high school. After graduating, he decided to stay home and continue to train, only hoping to get stronger.

However, one day his pride got the better of him. When he encountered a monster known as a Zodiarts, Sanyu, having thought himself strong enough to defeat it, attacked him, only to end up being defeated by it. Crushed by his defeat, he trudged himself back home to tend to his wounds, only for a mysterious masked man to appear before him. Handing him a strange belt said to contain the power of the stars, he told Sanyu about the creature and how with that power, he could defeat it. The young man obliged, and he became Kamen Rider Meteor in order to reclaim his pride as a son of the Miyazaki family...
